Cody Deal Freeman, Sr., 83, of Mayflower, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 2, 2015. He was born July 25, 1931 in Greenbrier, AR to the late Tollie C. Freeman and Allie Victoria Sawyer. Cody was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Freeman, two sons, Timothy Joseph and James Dean.
Cody loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cody is survived by his sister, Linda Thornton Carter, daughter, Colleen Kregger (Ron) of Mayflower, three sons, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7th at Henderson Cemetery in Greenbrier, with Charles Freeman officiating.
I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Gpa Cody. My brother and I may have never met you in person but his loss is still a great one. My daughters and I wish you all the best and healing from your family loss.

Cody was my Baby Brother and I am the youngest of 8 children and the only one left but The Lord needed another
angel and he will be laid to rest March 7, exactly 24 years after our Mother, 1991. Charles and I have the Fmily in our Prayers and May God Bless them all !!!!

Although I haven't seen him since I was little, I remember he was always nice to me and I remember loving his biscuits and gravy he would make for me..Rip Grandpa Cody
