Donna Faye (Copeland) Matthews, 57 of Clinton passed away Monday March 2, 2015 in her home surrounded by friends and family. She was born August 24, 1957 to the late Luther Copeland and Joy (Copeland ) Jones.
She enjoyed dancing, being in the barn, hunting rocks, working in her flower beds, riding the four-wheeler and cooking. She loved her horses, friends, ''adopted family'' and family. She was known by most as Nanny and was a member of Bee Branch Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Dewayne Matthews of Clinton; daughter Misti (William) Mosley of Bee Branch; step-son Jeff Matthews of Conway, step-daughter Mandy Matthews of Tulsa, OK; her mother Joy Jones of Scotland; brothers; Randy Copeland of Birdtown, Andy Copeland of Maumelle and Tim Copeland of Center Ridge; sister; Becky Ray of Harrison; six grandchildren, a soon to be great grandchild and a host of friends and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Copeland and son, Brandon ''Bubba'' Washam.

Jaden Copeland, Dausen Duncan, and Mason Duncan
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Bee Branch Baptist Church, with Brother Tim Copeland, Brother Jeff Deckard and Tim Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mayflower Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:00- 8:00pm on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton.

At 5 years old Donna was my very first friend and neighbor for several years. Yes it may have been a long time ago but I've never forgotten her or her family. My condolences to her loved ones and friends.
wish I could be there but I can't get out due to my health. I love yeah and will be praying for the family.

Dewayne and Family, Donna, a very special lady. She always made me feel like I was a part of her family when we were invited to your dinners. She always had a smile on her face and was there for eveyone. There is not very many people in this world like her. She will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Donna passing , I haven't seen her in years. In school she was always such a kind person that everyone loved. She I'm sure will be greatly missed by all that knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with the Family at this time.
