I remember Gertrude when my mom was at nursing home. She was at my mom's dinner table and always enjoyed visiting with her. My condolesances to the family.
Gertrude was a very special person to our family. We worshiped with her at Highland Heights until we moved away in 1983. She took care of all of the children in our nursery and our son would not go in if "Pitcock" was not there. The children loved her and she influenced many young lives. Especially after she went to a nursing facility, we always tried to see her on our visits to Arkansas. We are thankful that we were able to see her in December. We always left feeling better from having been in her presence. We believe God smiled when He thought of her and we do too.
Barbara and family. Due to the weather, I was unable to attend Gertrude's memorial service. Our families were friends as far back as I can remember. I loved your mothers spirit. She faced the good and bad in life and always made the best of whatever came her way. I am thankful that I was able to know and love her. You are in my prayers. Camilla
My condolences to you and your family on the death of your mother...she was a sweet lady.

To know you was to love you. All of us enjoyed any time we got to spend with you, always.
You brought sunshine into our lives. Oh, the wonderful memories! Always ready to help create laughter.
The greatest generation is often written and talked about. The Dodson Family had ours. At 98 years of age, you touched many lives, always in a positive way – loving – unselfish – ready to help- giving of yourself. To know you was to love you. God gave you special qualities. That was the reason he let you spend a little extra time with us, however, we know He has a special place just for you.
You are loved and will be missed
Your niece, Mildred
While we know this is a sad time for you, we know you have the hope, with assurance, of seeing your mother again in heaven. We have fond memories of the days when we all went to Hebron Church together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find comfort, hope, and strength in the Lord.
Barbara and Karen, I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Gertrude. She was a fun and loving person. She will be greatly missed.
I really wish I could be there.
Love
Your Cousin

Granny Pitcock was a charming, loving person! She took great care of our kids while Gabriell attended Bible study at Highland Heights many years ago. We are thankful our paths crossed and we look forward to seeing her again one day!
