Mildred (Mickey) McGinty, 91, of Enola, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 21, 2015. She was born on August 29, 1923 in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas to William Asher and Laura Alice (Sublett) Starr. In 1947, she married Mark McGinty and together they raised two children. Mickey attended Greenbrier Church of Christ and enjoyed cooking for her family, for special occasions, and for her friends, neighbors, or any church activities while she was able but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter; Deanna Beene (James) of Enola, two grandchildren; James A. (Tony) Beene II (Tonya) of Enola, Kevin W. Beene (Tricia) of Enola, great-grandchildren; Hunter Beene, Clayton Beene, Adam Beene, Olivia Beene, Abigail Beene, and Andrew Beene, all of Enola, and Hunter Vaughn, of Conway, two sisters; Mazelle Moffitt of Vilonia, Faye Smith of McLouth, Kansas, one brother; Sam Starr (Carla) of Warrior, Alabama, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mickey is preceded in death by her parents, William Asher and Laura Alice Starr, one son; Gary Mark McGinty, and four siblings; Estelle Killian, James Oather Starr, Faber Gene Starr, and Vernon Odell Starr.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Arkansas, with visitation to be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery in Enola.
This sweet lady will be greatly missed. She was always such a joy to be around. Our condolences go out to the family and friends. You all will be in our prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. . For several years, her neighbor, Ms. Evans,(my son's Grandma) babysat for me. Ms. Mickey was always so sweet and kind to us. She was alwaysso gracious, had a smile on her face and a kind word. Timothy loved Ms. Mickey so much.
I will miss Mickey's smiling face , every time I got to see her ,mostly at realitives funerals. She was a greaat lady.I remember, we allcame to Kansas city in the early fifties, and we all lived close to or next door .We all got along real good. Ihope to see her in heavensome day soon
