We were both surprised and saddened to learn of the passing of our friend Bob. He truly broke the mold! We were blessed to have had the opportunity to work closely with Bob, camp, hunt and fish with him through the years. It was obvious how important his family was to him. He was a delight and joy to all he knew. Our thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.

Lecendia, Susan and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Bob was a "one of kind" guy. I have fond memories of him and rarely saw him without a smile on his face. He was always so proud of you Susan and you and your mom were the light in his eyes.

Always joking with that handsome smile-That's Bob. One day when Jody was three I left him in the truck to run in the store for milk-30 seconds! A no- no! Had been in store maybe twenty seconds and the truck with Jody behind the wheel went by the front door and windows, missing gas pumps by inches. Bob fell to his knees laughing as I fell crying , thinking what we narrowly escaped! He never let me forget it and always joked at what a good driver at three Jody was! Times like these we remember what good friends we have. Lecendia and Susan, his love for you was in his blue eyes always. We've lost a good guy but we'll see him again soon. God bless!

I met Bob about 9yrs ago when he was in Morrilton with Blackman Auction. A few years ago he was in at the restaurant where I worked and the guys and I started talking and they told me it was his Birthday coming up, I knew Bob liked coconut pie, so I had a coconut pie made for him and took it to the yard where he was working, the guys gave him a hard time about sharing the pie. The next year I took another pie and this time we made it sugar free , the guys didn't want any then. Bob got to eat the whole thing. Every year that the Auction would come to town I knew that I'd see Bob bright and early, I'd always have his cup of decaf waiting when he walked in, he acted like he didn't see me and keep walking to another seat. He always gave me a hard time. I am very sorry for your lose, he will be missed greatly.

I was so sorry to hear about your loss. My earliest memory of Bob was watching him fly by on his way home from work in his hotrod jeep as I was waiting to catch the school bus every morning. Later we got to visit when I came in to work at Speed Queen. Praying for a peace that passes all understanding over your family during this time.

bob was like a dad to me. At the old store at walker from the time i was 10 years old wher we spent so much time.bob was the first person to teach me about credit. i went for a coke on my bicycle one day and didnt have any money so i went home without going in the store. the next day me and ed was in there and he was laughing and telling you guys what i had done and bob told me boy dont you know you can get a coke in here without any money!!! when we got in the truck to leave ed told me i better not get anything in there without the money to pay for it. I will never forget that. its just one great memory i have of bob. he tought me how to weld and use a torch and how to build things. i will miss him more than you know. i love you guys and if you need me you know where i am.
