Bernard Durci, age 81 of Mountain Home, AR passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 in Mountain Home. He was born June 13, 1933 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania to John Michael Durci and Mary Direr Durci.

Bernie was an Air Force Veteran and while stationed in Highlands, NC he met the love of his life, Berta Lee Talley. They were married in Highlands on October 26, 1957 and enjoyed 57 years of friendship, marriage, and raising a family together.

He is survived by his wife, 3 sons, and 5 grandchildren who will always remember him as Choo Choo Pap. His wife, Lee Durci, lives in Mountain Home. His son Dan Durci and wife Sue live in St Louis, MO and have 3 sons: Jacob, Joel and Jared. His son Mike Durci and wife Denise live in Shreveport, LA and have 2 daughters: Lela and Maggie. His son Robert Durci and wife Wendy live in Austin, TX. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Paul Durci and his parents.

Bernie and Lee retired to the Mountain Home area from Austin after his electrical engineering career having worked for Westinghouse, Texas Instruments, and Motorola. He loved his time here and especially his family at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and his brothers at the Knights of Columbus.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home. A Vigil Service will be held at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 19, 2015 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold and Reverend Chris Okeke, Celebrants. Interment will be private.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations be made to Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home at www.hospiceoftheozarks.org.
