Aileen Shrader, age 83, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Shrader was born January 18, 1932 at Marianna, Arkansas to the late Oscar Parker and the late Mary Ledbetter Parker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Helena and worked for ten years for the Arkansas Department of Human Services.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Shrader; a son, Mark Gilbert (Alice) of Brandon, Mississippi; daughter, Paula Hill (Jack) of Wears Valley, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Melanie Norman, Kelli Kelley (Les) and Cristy Marshall (Jason); three great-grandchildren, Dakota Norman, Alyssa Kelley and Noah Marshall; a sister, Betty Ellenburg of Helena; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shirley Ann Parker.
A graveside service for Aileen Shrader will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Brother Cliff Bernard will officiate.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
So sorry to hear about Ms. Shrader. I worked with her at DHS and she was always such a sweet lady. God bless her family during this time.
So sorry to hear about Aileen "leeny". We went way back to College St. In Helena. Those were the days of our youth. She was a special person and God has a great angel. My prayers are with you.
