Mary Jane Manchester Spicer, 78, of West Memphis died Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. Francis Bartlett Hospital.
Mrs. Spicer was born in Pineville, Louisiana on September 1, 1936 to Monroe M. Manchester and Mary Lucille Johnson Manchester but has made her home in West Memphis since 1937.
Mrs. Spicer was a member of the Marion United Methodist Church, where she was the past president of Marion United Methodist Women and active member of Lee Etta Martin-Fogleman-Rieves Circle and served as chairman of Caregivers and a member Ford Turner Sunday School Class. Mrs. Spicer retired from Bank of America after being in banking for 33 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Monroe Manchester and Lucille Johnson Manchester.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Spicer (Brenda) of Maryville, TN; and Rick Spicer(Shellie) of Heber Springs, AR; four grandchildren Rich Spicer (Keely) of Fayetteville, AR; Blakelee Counce ( Justin) of Jonesboro, AR; Steele Spicer of Heber Springs, AR; Nicholas Spicer of Maryville, TN; a great-grandson Rylan Richard Spicer and a great-granddaughter, Laurel Routh Spicer a sister, Doris Jean Burchfield (Hugh) of Nesbit, MS; two nephews and one niece, three great nephews and four great nieces.

Mark & Ricky and grandkids, sister and all, so sorry to hear of yout mom's passing..Remember her frim so many years back diring her West Memphis Banking days, and as a customer of mine during the 60's...My thoughts and prayers are for you all diring these most difficult days. My dear family members of my friend from many years ago when I was Linda Bright, which made Mary Jane and I kin for a while there. No matter what went on in the family Mary Jane always treated me the same. When I think of her I see a wonderful happy person with the greatest laugh. I have not seen Mary Jane in many years But I had never forgotten her. So glad to know she loved The Lord and I know I WILL get to see her again one day.
