Mary Gordon (Hixson) Hodges, 83 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on November 1, 1931 in New Blaine, Arkansas to her parents Gordon and Fern (Smith) Hixson. She was a homemaker and attended Southside Baptist Church in Paris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Fern (Smith) Hixson; her husband, Roy C. Hodges; one son, Mark Anthony Hodges and one sister Patsy Price.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Rogers of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one son, Doug Hodges of Scranton, Arkansas; one brother, Donald Hixson of New Blaine, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Roy Delbert Hodges of Paris, Arkansas, Brandon Hodges of St. Francisville, Louisiana and April Gill of Springfield, Illinois and four great-grandchildren, Dylan Gill and Gwendolyn Gill of Springfield, Illinois, Layla Hodges of Paris, Arkansas and Jase Hodges of Francisville, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Kenneth Edmondson. Burial will follow in Wares Chapel Cemetery in Scranton, Arkansas under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Delbert Hodges, Jeffrey Rehm, Christopher Rehm, Nick Hixson, T.J. Schluterman and Ken Rogers.

I REMEMBER VISITING WITH HER IN THE NURSING HOME WHEN SHE WAS THERE. MARY WAS DOING HER HAIR IN THE SALON, AND SHE WAS TELLING ME FAMILY STORIES ABOUT MY GRANDPA, DAD AND FAMILY. DIDNT REALIZE I WAS KIN FOLK UNTIL THAT DAY. MARY I KNOW HOW CLOSE YOU WERE TO HER, SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, AND TO THE REST OF THE FAMILY.
