Mr. Roosevelt "Tony" Block, 71 of Little Rock, AR passed on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joan, and his four children; Jonie Block, Carmen Fletcher, Tonni Grant, Tyra Block; 8 grandchildren; brother Izell Block (Allie); sister Lenora (Henry) Whitehead; host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at Roller-Chenal funeral home at 2:00 pm. Viewing of the body will be held at 1:00- 2:00pm. Burial will be Wednesday December 31, 2014 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 10:00am.

Sending my belated condolences to the Family. I have many fond memories of "Tommy" from my childhood days growing up in Gary. We did get a chance to chat last year at reunion. Glad for that time. He will be missed. Our continued prayers go out to you family.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of your love one the family is in my prayers, although I do not remember him, I know that we are cousin, I moved to Arizona when I was 9 years old and I've been every since and I am 78 now. Condolences are extended to the family of Mr. Block. I met him last year after the passing of my stepfather Mr. Jewel Binns and during the illness of my mother. He visited or called us daily. My mother and I were very grateful for his company at such a difficult time. He was a thoughtful and caring man and we will never forget him. My prayers are with you all.

Mr. Tony was a blessing to the Binns's family in Monticello. He visited my husband and I everyday when we were in the Hospital last year at Baptist Hospital. Mr. Tony was there with me when my husband passed away. I pray God's strength and comfort to your family.
