¬¬Mr. Roy Elijah Ellis, 79 of Deer, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 in Deer, AR. He was born February 22, 1935 in Colt, AR to Roy and Gladys (Williams) Ellis.
Mr. Ellis served in the United States Army National Guard. He worked for 44 years as a machinist for Yale Hoist Co. in Forrest City, AR. Roy loved Hunting, fishing, farming and especially loved running his trotlines.
Mr. Ellis is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Schmitz) Ellis of Deer; sons, Mark Ellis of Centerton, Rodney and Robyn Ellis of Siloam Springs; grandchildren, Sage, Caleb, Tristan, and Cole Ellis.
Mr. Ellis' funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Cassville Cemetery with Bro. Don Milford officiating. Caleb Ellis, Mark Ellis, Rodney Ellis, Ryan Martin, Jack Martin, and Rick Martin will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cole Ellis, Eddie Schmitz, Nathan Hall, Charlie Curtis, Steve Adams, and Nick Martin.
