Joe Padgett, 79, of Conway, Arkansas passed away December 10th, 2014. Proceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sally Padgett; brothers Voris, R.L., Leonard "Buddy", & J.B. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia Dale (McNew) Padgett; two sons, Steve Padgett (Cheryl) of Greenbrier and grandson Heath Padgett and Jimmy Padgett (Tia) of Maumelle; grandson Scott Padgett (Amber), granddaughter Stephanie Padgett.
Born September 24, 1935 in Conway, he retired from Ameron Protective Coating Division after 29 years of service. Joe was an avid handyman, enjoyed fishin' and loved his family.
Visitation will be 10:00am Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Cadron Ridge Baptist Church, 2980 Old Morrilton Hwy in Conway with memorial services directly following at 11:00 a.m.

I was so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I'll remember the good times here at the shop & his passion for reading Westerns. Will sure miss him coming by to visit us.

I am so shocked and sorry to hear about Joe. He will be missed by my entire family since he was related to me on both sides. Joe was mom's cousin and married to Dad's niece. I loved him dearly. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
