Agnis Needham Martin, 85, of Batesville died Saturday, November 22, 2014, at a local nursing home.
Born October 11, 1929 in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Clint and Fannie Needham.
She enjoyed gardening, especially tomatoes and flowers, fishing and quilting. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include five daughters, Linda Wallis of Mount Pleasant, Carolyn Helms of Porter, Texas, Dianne Willis of Sulphur Rock, Brenda Neeley and Dorothy Tharp, both of Cushman; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Jerry Johnson, Connie Joe Melton and Shelby Martin; one daughter, Peggy Wheeler; two brothers, J.C. Needham and Reed Needham; four sisters, Mary Cooper, Adis Wolford, Rudine Frazier and Lois Johnson.
The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Kenny Tharp officiating.
Burial will be in Nail Cemetery at Mount Pleasant.
Pallbearers will be Michael William Knight, Carroll Mick Johnson, Justin Tharp, Jerry Hensley, Charles Branch, Randy Knight and Ralph Wheeler.
Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at the funeral home.
