Our heartfelt condolences to you, Mrs. Cheek, John and Cindy, Tami and Dusty, Mitzi and Jeff.
Many memories of a full life of service for others and a hearty handshake and smile will always be remembered.
Mrs, Cheek, John, Tami, and Mitzi-I will never forget how many times I visited with him at his shop or at another shop where he was so happy to be taking a truck or machine apart-or building it from the ground up, and putting it back together-and telling me what he planned to do with it. He inspired and encouraged me-I will always be thankful for my time with him.
God Bless you each, we will remember him.
Imogene, just saw Vernon's obituary in the paper. Great memories of the friendship both of you shared with Mom and Dad. Will be praying for you and your family.
Uncle Vernon was such a warm and loving person. Always treated me with kindness and respect. My heart and prayers go out to the rest of the family. May the good Lord give you peace at this time of loss. He will be missed by many.
God Bless!
