To Jo and Raymond and Allan and all of Steve’s extended family – I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was a kind and loving man. His time on this earth was cut short, but he made every minute count and touched and enriched the lives of many. He chose a path of leadership and worked to make this world a better place. We humans are fortunate to have the gift of love and the ability to hold that love in our memories. I know that all who were blessed by a bit of time with Steve will forever treasure their wonderful times together and be comforted by the love you shared. Rejoice in his life well lived. May you find peace through all the love flowing your way.

Ashley, Allen, Raymond & Jo,
I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was such a joy to be around in high school. The last time I saw him, he came to one of our last class reunion meetings. He always had a smile and hug for us at the meetings. May God give you comfort and peace during the days ahead.

To those who all loved Steve,
I have seldom meet any kinder, gentle, sweet, and loving man than Steve. I truly will miss him, even though most of our conversations were on the phone or Facebook. His very essence you could feel the compassion and a Godly Christian spirit that radiated from him. To all that deeply loved this man, it was a blessing to have known him....his earthly body is gone but his sweet soul, I know walks with his Savior

DEVOTION! That is the word that sums Steve's life. He gave to everything he loved and believed in. He was devoted to his family, partner, friends, charities and so many other things that we were not privledged to have known. A legend in the field to turn the AIDS crisis around. He will and is being missed. I pray for the family and for a man that was by him and vice versa his loving partner Allan Cox.

Jo and Raymond, I am so very saddened to read of Steve's death. Losing a child is probably the hardest thing a parent will ever endure. May your pleasant memories help you through such a difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Where do I begin? You will be missed by so many friends and family. You were the most caring and giving man I have ever known. You always did so much for others in their time of need. These past 8 years with you have been awesome. Knowing that May 12, 2014 was one of the happiest days of our lives. Till we see each other again. Allan

I want to sign this, Steve, but I really don't know what to say. What do you say about someone who inspired you to have courage in the face of adversity? What do you say about someone who taught you to laugh when all you felt like doing was crying? And what do you say about someone who taught you that you always have something to give, no matter how poor you are?

I guess you say, thank you, for all you have done for me and the community. And I love you, and you will always be in my heart, my friend, my brother.

To the family and friends of Mr. Thomas, please accept our sincere condolences. Although we never knew Mr. Thomas personally, we did know that he was a genuine and sincere person that was loved so much by his family. We thank Mr. Thomas for raising such a wonderful daughter whom her and her family have meant so much to ours. May you all take comfort knowing that he is resting in the arms of our Lord. We know he will be greatly missed.

I have known Steve Thomas since the early 80's. We met through my best friend, David Riba. He was always kind to me. I had a lot of fun with this guy. I could be my crazy self and not worry what anyone thought. When I moved away from Little Rock, he kept in touch with me. Not too many others did. I found that certain someone, Joey, to spend my life with and had Steve's blessing. I am going to miss Steve so much. He did so much for people. He went that extra mile. I know I am rambling on, but he always listened. I love you Mr Thomas. Till we meet again.....
