November 19, 2014

Rizel Manus Bittle, 96, passed away on November 19, 2014. Rizel was born in Miller, Arkansas on March 4, 1918 to Harvey and Ludy Bittle.
He was preceded in death by his wife of seventy two years Miva Bittle; brothers Goldman Bittle and Alton Bittle; sisters, Alma Neal, Opal Carr, Chester Carr, Hester McClardy, Esther Bittle and Estell Cullins; a great grandson Braylon Besancon.
Rizel is survived by: six children Ann Porter (Gene), Kaye Wood (Jim), Larry Bittle (Theresa), Ricky Bittle (Karen), Regina Besancon (Terry), Benny Bittle (Neillana); twenty two Grandchildren; forty two Great Grandchildren with two more on the way; and two Great Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother Billy Bittle of Heber Springs AR and one sister Irene Verser of Rogers AR.
Rizel was a man of faith who believed in the saving grace of Jesus Christ and looked forward to the resurrection. Rizel was also a man to whom family was very important. As a father he modeled 1 Thessalonians 2: 11-12, a father who dealt with his children by, encouraging, comforting and urging them to live lives worthy of God.
Rizel was a man who believed in continuing to learn all of his life and whose practical knowledge allowed him to fix almost anything. As he fixed things he could be very creative in his use of duct tape.

My deepest sympathy goes to Rizel's family. You were so fortunate to have such a wonderful life as an example to follow and I know there will be sad days ahead, but try to remember the fun times and the joyful times. Much love to you all, Jeanetta
