November 12, 2014 - November 16, 2014

Our sweet baby, Karter Colt Cooper, went to Heaven Sunday, November 16, 2014. While our hearts are heavy, we find peace in that he is living the greatest life he could ever possibly have in Heaven right now. We will see him again one day and on that day we will rejoice. He will forever live in our hearts. We will love him always.

Karter Cooper, infant son of Jason and Lydia (Ramer) Cooper, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Karter was born November 12, 2014 in Harrison. Karter was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Earl and Emily Harness, Sam Ramer, and Myra Whatley.

Karter is loved and will be missed by his family, which include his grandparents, Mark and Emma Ramer and Mike and Lil Cooper; his great-grandparents, Gertrude Ramer, Webster and Betty Owens, and Leon Whatley; his uncles, Joseph Ramer and Matt Crow; his aunts, Sarah Ramer, Jennifer Crow, and Megan Cooper; and his cousins, Cash Clouse and Lucas Crow.

A graveside service for Karter was Friday, November 21, 2014, at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison, with Bro. Mark Enloe officiating. Visitation was Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers were Michael Cooper, Mark Ramer, and the staff of Arkansas Children's Hospital.

A BABY'S SECRET

I'M JUST A LITTLE FELLAR,
WHO DIDNT QUITE MAKE IT THERE.
I WENT STRAIGHT TO BE WITH JESUS,
BUT I'M WAITING FOR YOU HERE.

DON'T YOU FRET ABOUT ME MOMMY,
I'M IN ALL OF GOD'S LAMBS MOST BLEST.
I'D HAVE LOVED TO STAY THERE WITH YOU,
BUT THE SHEPARD KNOWS WHATS BEST.

THERE ARE MANY DWELLINGS HERE WHERE I LIVE,
THEY WAITED YEARS TO ENTER IN.
STRUGGLED THROUGH A WORLD OF SORROW,
AND THEIR LIVES WERE MARRED WITH SIN.

SO, SWEET MOMMY DON'T YOU SORROW.
WIPE THOSE TEARS AND CHASE THE GLOOM.
I WENT STRAIGHT TO JESUS' BOSOM,
FROM MY LOVELY MOTHER'S WOMB.

THANK YOU FOR THE LIFE YOU GAVE ME.
IT WAS BRIEF, BUT DON'T COMPLAIN.
I HAVE ALL OF HEAVEN'S GLORY,
SUFFERED NONE OF EARTHLINGS PAIN.

THANK YOU FOR THE NAME YOU GAVE ME.
I'D HAVE LOVED TO BROUGHT IT FAME.
BUT IF I'D LINGERED IN LIFE'S SHADOWS,
MIGHT INSTEAD HAVE BROUGHT IT SHAME.

DADDY GAVE ME SOMETHING FOR YOU.
IT'S OUR SECRET MOMMY DEAR.
HE PRESSED IT TIGHT AGAINST MY FOREHEAD,
WHISPERED IN MY TINY EAR.

I'LL BE WAITING FOR YOU MOMMY,
YOU AND DADDY.
I'LL BE WITH YOU FOREVER THEN;
THEN I'LL GIVE YOU DADDY'S KISS
