You were my mom’s (Josephine Cobb) best friend! You lived a big life, loving and helping others. I count my memories of you as one of my many blessings.
I’m just sad that I didn’t know when you died. Until I see you again sweet Sybol!

Ms Carter was always very kind to me when I was a small child in the middle fifties. My dad would shop there at WA mostly on Saturdays and I'd tag along. She'd give me a sucker on occasion or just talk to me. She was a pretty lady, and her and her husband were just nice people. You never forget nice! God Speed.

I think most of my Christmas gifts, while I was a child, came from Western Auto and I will never forget my dad, Tom White, going there to buy our first color TV set.

I, also, remember the great work they did in the church of my youth, FUMC, and I am thankful for all those memories.

My prayers and thoughts are with your family.

What great memories our family have of Dave and Sybol with their Western Auto only a couple of stores down from Sterling. Always greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome-but even more important, they were close friends of mom and dad. I was privileged to have known them and I cherished their memories.

The loss of a love one is one of the most difficult situations to face in life. God's word can help ease some of your pain during this troubling time. John11:35-44 has helped many to see that Jesus hated death. Because when his friend Lazarus died he wept. After weeping he looked heavenward prayed to his father in heaven, Jehovah God, and then brought his friend back to life. Jesus will do the same for your loved one who has died. (John 5:28, 29) Until that day arrive Roman 12:15 encourages us to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. May all of your family gain comfort through the scriptures.

Sybol married my oldest brother David in 1941 - I was 3 years old and hid behind the door when David brought her home.
She's been such a sweet, caring, loving sister-in-law all these many years.
I shall miss her greatly.
