Bennie (Benji) Merell Singley, Jr., 36, of Greenbrier, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 8, 2014. He was born June 17, 1978 in Conway, AR. Benji was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Shepard Singley, one brother, Allen Singley, his grandmother, Alma Jean Young, and grandparents, Mamie and Elby Singley.
Benji was of the Baptist faith and employed at Porter Commercial Refrigeration. He was a wonderful father of five children and a hard working Christian man, who loved his family very much. Benji enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and most of all spending time with his family. He was a kind and caring person and the best man you could ever meet and very strong in his faith. Benji was loved very much and will be greatly missed by all.
Benji is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Pamela Singley, his father, Bennie Merell Singley, Sr., his children, Levi Singley, Preston Curnett, Saige Singley, Bailey Smith, and Kayla Hargraves, and one sister, Tricia Singley Liesche of Greenbrier.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 13th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier (501) 679-2575, with Bro. Danny Smith officiating. Burial will follow at McGinty Town Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Wayne Bowers, Charles Taylor, Justin Weldon, Larry Taylor, Danny Prince, and Preston Curnett. Levi Singley will be serving as honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Benji's honor at any Centennial Bank location.
