I was very sorry to hear Jerry had passed away.
I enjoyed him very much. I have not been in Arkansas
for awhile but the last time I saw him I met his children
and wife at Aunt Gladys home.
Sincerely, Rose
I only had the pleasure of meeting Jerry a few times, and I would not go so far as to say I knew him, but I know Jeanne and like everyone who shares that privilege I know he was loved very much and he will be missed just as greatly. Our deepest condolences for your loss.
I spent my early years growing up in Chicago. Then, and I am sure now, you could not say anything better about a man than to describe him as being a 'Regular Guy'. That was Pot. One thing that stands out in my memory about Pot is him standing out at a pour for a house slab with his hands on his hips telling me that he was going to start calling himself a 'chemical' finisher rather than a 'concrete' finisher. He was not happy. I sold the chemicals. Pot knew this but it was not in his nature to have any spite..
I am so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Pot and I know how much he meant to my sister. My parents, too, thought a lot of him.
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
Much love,
Leanna Belew

I grew up with Pot and he and I played basketball many early morning waiting for the bus to come. We spent a lot of time playing at each other's houses and we drifted apart when we finished school. I just want you to know prayers are sent your way. I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words that will ease the pain. Having gone thru this myself in April I am at a loss for words knowing nothing I say will really help the hurt you are feeling. Pot was a good man and I had utmost respect for him. But he is in a better place and singing in the angels choir. If you all need anything please let me know. My heart hurts for your kids also. I know he was a great paw paw..
