Mr. Duawayne Veteto, 66, of Jonesboro passed away on October 3, 2014 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. He was born August 13, 1948 in Jonesboro to Henry and Jewell Veteto. Mr. Veteto was retired from Abilities Unlimited where he was a nurse and a case worker. He loved his job and helping people. He was a member of the Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Jewell Veteto; a brother, Barnett Veteto; and two sisters Joyce Riga and Elberta Cambron.
Survivors include three brothers James Veteto, Bobby Veteto and Tim Veteto; a sister, Betty Cude; and his life partner, Freddie Green.
Chapel service will be Tuesday, October 7 at 10:00 am, in Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a private burial service.
Pallbearers will include Doug Formon, Doug Veteto, Stephen Veteto, David Veteto, Christopher Taylor and Rick Foremon.

My sincerest condolences on the loss of your loved one. Duawayne and I worked together at George W. Jackson for 10 years, and I grew to know him as one of the kindest, most empathetic of nurses. He was a blessing to all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
