There is only one word that comes to mind when I think of Gail...Love. As my mother's best friend from the time I was born, I grew up feeling as if she was my 2nd Mom, like a Mother, if she saw me doing something that she didn't approve of, she let me know. Trust me. I gave her many opportunities to do just that too, but not once did I ever question her love for me. I trusted her with secrets that only she knew, things my own family, to this day doesn't know. I am so blessed to have grown up with you as an influence, but even more so to have known you as my friend.
The hearts you touched, & the lives you changed throughout your career are too many to even guess. Some people "choose" to be teachers. I don't believe that to be the case here. Teaching chose you. You put your whole heart into each & every lesson you taught. You never allowed your students to walk away without learning something from, even if that 'something' was that he or she was loved.
Ken, Paulie, & Shannon....my friends...my brothers. Take care of eachother, please. That is what Gail would want from you. I love you all.
So sorry for your loss.
Dear Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I visited your mother as a Home Health Nurse several weeks ago-I was touched by her personality, determination, zest for life and resolve for her lot in life. Not every patient touches my heart in the way Ms. Hill has. Once again I express my sorrow. Praying you will be comforted, may God be with you.
Gails Family,
Ms. Hill was my favorite teacher. She was the nicest lady ever. She was funny and a good teacher.. Heaven got another angle. God bless each and everyone of you. R.I.P. MRS. Hill. GAIL BRADSHAW PARNELL
