Goldia Isabel Garner 84, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 26, 2014. She was born April 6, 1930 in Drasco, Arkansas to Foster and Annie (Horn) Liles.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War and was stationed in Yokohama, Japan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond Eugene Garner, and three brothers.

She is survived by her three sons, Andy Garner of Scott, Arkansas; Foster Garner of Conway, Arkansas; and William E. Cook of Shirley, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Candia Ann Cook, Jennifer Platson, Jessica Vance, Ryan Garner, and Rachel Garner, six great-grandchildren, one sister, Joyce Coffman of North Carolina; and a sister in law, Myrna Liles of Fairfield Bay, AR, and many friends.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas with Rev. Roy Edwards officiating. U.S. Army Military Honors following service at the chapel.

We are so sorry for you loss. Goldia brought many people laughter and love. She was one of a kind, the good kind. Her thoughts and wisdom will be missed by those that knew her and those that received through her desire to help those less fortunate than herself.
