I KNOW FOR MY SELF WHAT A FINE MAN AND LOYAL FRIEND YOU WERE ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS GOOD TO ME TO ALL
Larry you will be missed. I remember you in the "Dino" days. Say hi to him for me... You were always friendly, good to me and made me laugh! I didn't remember the "goose" thing though. RIP!
Well it sure was great to be able to laugh and break bread at Cantina Laredo a few days before you left us. I know you and "DR. Dave Ibsen, VMD. Bubbie Cochran, Levon, and a few more are having some interesting "convo" and card games. It was truly a pleasure being a true friend for all the decades we shared. You always kept your word with me to a fault. The pleasure was truly mine to have called you a really close friend. God Speed and tell my Pop I love him and you will be missed my boy!!!!
Well Larry we have had your service and I have to say it was one for the record books. This was the first time I heard the "F" word (almost anyway). The first time people have clapped (several times) and the first time I have ever heard that many sinners singing Amazing Grace. A friend said if you could have a perfect funeral that was it, I hope you thought so. Never have I felt such an outpouring of love and respect. Tears and laughter mingled as we said goodbye. You will missed. Love you always, your sister.
I'll owe you forever, without you I would never have met the love of my life, Wally Hubbard. Please hug him for me when you get "up there" and love y
L.A. Goose you were my mentor, my boss, my brother,my father figure, my confidant, the best man at my wedding, Godfather to my children, and most of all you were my friend. I will never forget you. There will never been another like you. I can just see it now You, Billy, Burger, and God sittin' around a table tellin' stories about crap games , ladies of the night, bar fights, and drunken friends. At the end God leans over and asks " Garrison how did you get up here?" Goose looks at him and says Hard Work and Plenty of It lord that's what got where I am today.God Bless you my brother I will see you again on that beautiful shore
I loved you Larry! You and JET were very dear to me and always will be! We had some great times! I will be toasting you on 10/11....

You are such a fiery good soul,
Generous and mischievous,
You just took care of all of us,
So off you go good man,
Until we meet again,
And I will be grateful to God,
Knowing you friend...
What a dear sweet friend Larry Garrison has been to my sister and me since the late 70's. He always had a way of making us feel special every time we saw him. I would rush over to see him at the White Water every time I came to town. He did have a spark and a smile that made so many adore him. The last time we saw him he bought our drinks but then when did he not? I count myself lucky to be one of his multitudes of friends! We love you always and will miss you Larry!!!
My thoughts are with Larry's family and friends. I am so very sorry for your loss. I lived next door to Larry in Junior High and it seems like yesterday but the years pass too quickly. He always had a smile.
A million words could be used to describe this very unique man and just a few of them are HONESTY, ( sometimes more than enough LOL) LOYALTY ( he was a "sticker)
FUNNY ( he roared at all of his own jokes) HARD WORKER ( well sometimes, when he could tell some one else to hurry up) FAMILY MAN ( what a great father he was!) SUBPERB BARTENDER ( and he got EVERYONE out at closing time! LOL) a challenging Domino player that made up the rules as he went! Not to mention his prowess at the card table....His ability to spot an up and coming band is unsurpassed, and who could NOT mention his dancing!!!!!! WHOA... A great man that will be so very, very missed by the family friends and the business community. His legend and wit will be passed on and remembered by many for his kind heart and willingness to step forward with out restrain to help those in need and many times with no expectations for any sort of reciprocity..God speed and put a smile on all the other angels in heaven. WE LOVE YOU.
