Jane Gunning, 85 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 in Paris. She was born on December 26, 1928 in Auburn, Indiana to her parents Orville R. and Ada (Osbun) Frey. She was a homemaker, a faithful member of the First Christian Church of Paris, a former employee of Paris Pants Factory and she loved to sew and garden and spend time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville R. and Ada (Osbun) Frey, husband of 53 years, Arthur Gunning, five sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by her son, Stephen B. Gunning and wife Maggie of Denver, Colorado; two daughters, Peggy Jarrell of Corley and Connie Fitzjurls of Booneville; six grandchildren, Matt Gunning, Leslie Brandow, Tonya Gemberling, Craig Gemberling, Shawn Churchwell and Adam Jarrell; eight great grandchildren, two brothers, Kenneth Frey and William Frey of MI and numerous nieces, nephews and family friends.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial in Corley Cemetery in Paris officiated by Pastor H.C. Varnadore under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Lee Churchwell, Adam Jarrell, Craig Gemberling, Matt Gunning, Donnie Reames and Heath Hampton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Hampton and Larry Needham.

Peggy i am so sorry and sad in my heart for the loss of your mother Jane. My love and prayers are with you and all of your family as you take part in this very sad occasion. May God comfort you Connie n Stephen in this time of loosing your precious mother. I had been to the nursing home Sunday to visit my mother and heard that she passed away. I immediately prayed for you and your family. You are a special friend Peggy and have been there for lots of people now it is time for us to be there for you and to lend you a helping hand and a shoulder to cry on. If there is every anything that i can do for you do not hesitate to call me and talk. May God Bless you today as you attend the services of farewell. Remember that God is with all of you and to die is to be absent in the body but in the holy presence of our Lord.. My Aunt Bertha Fulmer had fond words to say of your mom they worked together back in the Pants factory days i believe but they were always the best of friends. Take care my friend love Yvonne
