Clifford B. Allen, 84, of Batesville, Arkansas formerly of West Memphis, Arkansas died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas.
Mr. Allen retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service with five tours overseas the last being Vietnam, and as warehouse manager for Fred Jones Manufacturing Company after 20 years of service. He was a 54 year member of the West Memphis Masonic Lodge, the Scottish rite and a Shriner. A Member of the West Memphis First Baptist Church for 51 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Houston Calloway and Iva Pearl Floyd Allen, his wife of 41 years Lucile Swan Allen and adopted son, Joe Swan, his twin brother Lewis, his brother Jimmy, sisters, Ila, Alma, Ernye and Iva.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Wrenn Allen of Batesville, AR; a son, Dwayne Allen (Pamela) of Maumelle, AR; three grandchildren, Joshua Allen, Madison Allen Cliff Allen Swan (Amy).
So sorry we are not there today for you Elsie. I know this has been a rough few days recently and we wish for you and Cliff's family peace and comfort in your loss.
Just received message from Vera about Cliff- we are so sorry to hear of his passing & wish to extend our sympathies to Elsie and to his family. We were pleased to have met Cliff when in Arkansas.
