Albert Elvertis Bradshaw, 78, of Mabelvale passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014. He was born July 18, 1936 in Redfield.
Dad was happiest when he had all of his children and grandchildren gathered together. He was an avid fisherman especially crappie fishing on the Arkansas River. He enjoyed hunting at Tate Ranch Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Velma Bradshaw; three brothers: Donald, Otis, and Luther Jr. Bradshaw of Redfield; and one sister, Helen Lampkin of Redfield.
Albert is survived by his wife of 56 years, Flora ''Totsy'' Bradshaw; two sons of Mabelvale, Albert Earl and Lester Bradshaw; two daughters, Julia Green of San Angelo, TX and Sandy Bradshaw of Mabelvale; five grandsons: Tony, David, Eric, Al, and Joey; three granddaughters: Jessica, Mollie, and Mallorie; four great-grandsons: Anthony, Kevin, Arin, and William; three great-granddaughters: Karilynn, Victoria, and Brooklynn; and numerous friends and family who love and will miss him dearly.
The family would like to offer a special ''thank you'' to Dr. Steven Hutchins, Jim Kizziar, and Lola Fish for their compassionate touch. Baptist Health Little Rock, 8B staff, especially Glenda, are appreciated for their soft touch and sweet care.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209, 501-455-5800. Rev. John E. Threat will officiate, and Anthony Williams will also speak. Interment will follow at Upchurch Cemetery on Chicot Road. The family will receive friends from 6 8 P.M., Monday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers are Al Bradshaw, Clayton Russell, Brian Richard, Jimmy Dunn, Dustin Hardester, Dwain Wilson, and Joey Bradshaw.
