Edward Ervin Bradley of Clarksville, Arkansas, died on September 5, 2014, in Clarksville, Arkansas. He was born October 27, 1928, in Ozone, Arkansas, the son of Cecil Douglas Bradley and Laura Tamasa Self Bradley, now deceased. He served his country honorably as a corpsman in the 8076th MASH Unit during the Korean Conflict. He married Etta Jane Ricketts Bradley on May 3, 1952, a marriage which lasted just over 46 years until her death on June 17, 1998. He was also preceded in death by his older brother, Cecil Bradley, Jr., both of whom operated Strout Realty in Clarksville for over 35 years.
He is survived by three sons, Edward Ervin Bradley, Jr. (Debbie), Leonard Wayne Bradley (Deborah), both of Clarksville, and Gary Don Bradley (Linda) of Fort Smith. He is also survived by two brothers, Wayne Bradley (Pat) of Russellville, Arkansas, and Donald Bradley (Lyn) of Clarksville; seven grandchildren, Jared Bradley (Rachel) of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jason Bradley (Heather) of Clarksville, Jetta Ashley (Nick) of Lacey, Washington, Andrea Bradley of Chicago, Illinois, Will Bradley of Lowell, Arkansas, Zachary Bradley (Anna) of Van Buren and Kaitlin Bradley of Fort Smith; and five great-grandchildren, Madilyn Ashley, Brody Bradley, Christian Bradley, Noah Ashley, and Sophia Ashley.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 8, 2014, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, Clarksville. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Cherry Street Baptist Church, Clarksville, Arkansas, with the Rev. Richard Snyder, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Clarksville, under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home, Clarksville, Arkansas. Pall bearers are Jared Bradley, Jason Bradley, Will Bradley, Zachary Bradley, Wendell Bradley, and Jonathan Bradley. Honorary pall bearers are Robert Bartlett, Duane Steele, Bob Hula, Gerald Vaught, Bill Molder, and Jody Lundquist. So sorry to learn of the death of your dad. I have many fond memories of he and Cecil and Strout Realty from when Benny and i moved to Clarksville in 1971. If you recall Benny's first law office was in the old Bartlett building and Ed and Cecil must have been some of the first people that we met those many years ago.
