It seems unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you dearly love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk, laugh, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. There is great comfort in knowing about the beautiful hope that God has promised to mankind at Psalms 37:9, 10, 11, and 29. When that promise is fulfilled Isaiah 25:8; says God will swallow up death forever and wipe the tears from all faces. The scriptures also indicate, it is possible to be reunited with our dead loved ones again. (John 5:28, 29). To believe in such a promise we would need to be certain that the one promising this most beautiful and comforting hope is able to fulfill it. Isaiah 55:11. Until that day comes the Bible encourages us at Romans12:15 Rejoice with people who rejoice, and weep with people who weep.
