Edward ''Ed'' Hale Harris Jr., 59 of Clarksville, passed away Friday August 29, 2014 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born October 11, 1954 in Macon, Mississippi to Edward Hale Sr. and Rosemary (Wade) Harris. Mr. Harris served our country proudly in the U.S. Air Force for many years. Was a member of the Journey Church, and enjoyed shooting, archery, and fishing in his spare time. Ed earned bachelors from the University of the Ozarks and a Masters from the University of Arkansas.
Ed is preceded in death by his Father Edward Harris Sr., sons James Kristopher Harris, Matthew Wade Harris, Ryan Edward Harris and one daughter Laura LeeAnn Harris. He is survived by his wife Wilma (Kimbrell) Harris of Clarksville; son Nathan and Jenava Harris of Clarksville; three grandchildren Adam, Regann and, Peyton Harris; mother Rosemary Harris of Clarksville; one brother Mark Wade Harris of Clarksville.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Mr. Harris's Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014, with Bro. Erik Dickerson & Dr. Robert Lowry officiating, Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Ed and I enjoyed some really great talks back in the day; he was a thoughtful man with a heart full of love and peace that I am grateful that he shared with the world while he could.
