Mrs. Mary Ellen Willard, age 100 of Mountain Home passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 in Mountain Home. She was born December 22, 1913 in Harmon, Oklahoma to Roy L. Ripple and Janie Ross Ripple. She married Homer Tipton Willard on April 25, 1936 in Midway, Arkansas.
She was a homemaker and worked with her husband on the farm until his death in 1996. She was a faithful member of the Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene for 60 years.
She is survived by 2 sons:: Don (Roberta) Willard and Derril (Judi) Willard, both of Mountain Home; 5 grandchildren: Don Jr. (Tinka) Willard of Springdale, AR, Steve Willard of Creekmooor, NC, Roger (Kathy) Willard of Los Angeles, CA, Mike (Stacey) Willard of Farmington, AR, Shawn (Jill) Willard of Sanford, FL., 17 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a grandson Derril Willard Jr., 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Visitation will be from 2 until 3 PM Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home. A funeral service, conducted by Rev. Johnny Lake and Rev. Michael Roach will be held at 3pm at Roller. Interment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House

I have wonderful childhood memories of Aunt Mary. She was the best cook and always so sweet to us. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Praying for you all.
I feel so Blessed that Mary came into my life. She was a sweet lady with the most wonderful smile. Prayers for the family may God Bless each of you. I will miss you sweet Mary !
