Clyde Allen Bullard Sr., 89, of Southside died Monday, August 18, 2014, in a local nursing home.

He was born August 28, 1924, the son of Charlie Bullard and Frona Webb Bullard.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He retired from the maintenance department at White-Rodgers Manufacturing Company.

Survivors include a son, Clyde Bullard Jr. of McHue; a daughter, Glenda Stephens of Sulphur Rock; two grandsons, Gary Hobbs Jr. of McHue and Shawn Stephens of Pfeiffer; one granddaughter, Melissa Wood of McHue; four great-grandchildren, Morgan Stephens of Pfeiffer, Brianna Pate and Meagan Pate, both of Fort Worth, Texas, and Griffin Wood of McHue; one brother, Charles Bullard of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby Heflin Bullard; two brothers, Herbert Bullard and Gene Bullard; and four sisters, Lois Hollis, Ruby Fletcher, Oma Harvey, and Christine Bullard.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Egner Cemetery in Salado with Randy Harris officiating. Arrangements are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Pallbearers will be Aubry Smith, Tom Sellers, Terry Watson, Larry Bullard, Shorty Coles and Johnny Bullard.

Honorary pallbearers are the employees of Mountain Meadows Nursing Home.

Clyde, Jr...I am sorry to learn of your dad's death. He was a good neighbor over the years to mom and dad, and they both thought a lot of him. Prayers for your family.
