Louis A. List Jr., 74, of Vilonia passed away August 16, 2014. He was born January 12, 1940 in Leavenworth, Kansas to the late Louis A. and Anna List. Louis was also preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Marie List; two brothers and one sister.
Louis retired from the United States Postal Service after 35 years. He loved woodworking, stained glass, and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Kenny Cole (Susan), Jody Licon (Pierre), Julie Cole-Shipman, Kay Lynn McFall, Louis A. List III (Linda); grandchildren, Brian Shannon, Kenna Simms, Kasey Cole, Aaron Licon, Kenny Mossell Jr. Louis A. List IV; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, one sister and his close friend Glendon Graham.
Graveside Service will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Beryl Cemetery in Vilonia.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to the American Heart Association.
Although we have only know L.A. a short time, he was always friendly, with a smile, and loved being around the grandkids. We will miss this fine man, and friend. Our prayers are with his family and those that were close to him. God be with you.
