Margie J. Phillips, 78, of Benton passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014. She was born on Thursday, July 18, 1935 in Belfast, Arkansas to the late Coy and Euna (Brewer) Mooney.
She was the glue that held the family together. She was always putting smiles on the faces of everyone that she knew and loved. She enjoyed having her family and enjoyed all the times with them. She is no longer in pain and suffering, which is a comfort to the family she loved. At her home, it was always the more the merrier with everyone welcomed.
She is survived by her son, Cliff Phillips and wife Denise; two granddaughters, Krista Phillips and Kara Phillips; sister, Pat Cash; sister-in-law, Ruth Pisciotta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, William Phillips.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home, Benton with Gerald Driskill officiating. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, July 13, 2014.
To my neighbor Jo, I will miss you. I enjoyed out visits. You always made me laugh and feel comfortable in your home. Will miss your friendship and your smile. I am glad I got to know and visit with you. Although I will miss you, I know that you are in a much better place now.
