I did not learn of Ruby's death until I read it in the online edition of the newspaper. I am sorry that I did not know about it in time to attend her funeral. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. I always enjoyed visiting with her when she lived down the hill from us. She was the best cook and always shared a meal if we were around at that time of day. The family will be in my prayers. Know that I will be thinking of you in the days to come.

Ruby was a dear friend, and always a joy to be around. She loved to laugh and enjoyed preparing a meal when we came for a visit ,,,, especially strawberries. Every year when making strawberry jam I think of Ruby because she always pulled a jar out of the freezer when I was there for breakfast. I've spent many nights at her house and always appreciated all that she done for my mom (Ava) and I ,,, we thought the world of her!! God truly blessed us through Ruby!
