David L. Goggans, 61, of Conway passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 after a brief Illness. He was born July 8, 1952, to Marguerite and Leon Goggans.
David graduated Oak Grove High School in 1970, graduated from Hendrix College in 1974 then to finish with a Master's Degree from the University of Memphis. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
David is survived by his two sons, Matthew Goggans and Greg Heffelfinger; mother of his children, Becky Goggans; brother, Richard Goggans (Debbie); nieces, Deanna Goggans, Leslie Kilburn (Jason); great nieces and nephews, Jaelyn, Cooper and Brayden Kilburn.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Goggans and his sister Martha Goggans.
A memorial service will be held at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway Monday, July 7, 2014 at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House in Memphis, TN.

A housemate for a brief time and a fellow employee of Cylix for a long time, "The Goose" was a character of the first water and I'm sure will be missed by all who knew him. I grieved when I heard of his death; we had some good times that I will always remember.

I'm going to miss the times we got to hang out watching the Hogs or any good game we could find. You were always a way better friend to me than I to you and for that I am regretful. I am thankful for the friendship we shared. I know you fought to the end old man and I'm sorry that I wasn't there with you to help ease your mind. I would have done anything for you. I am so sorry.
