Ronnie Lee Bohannon, 56 of Altus, died Saturday May 31, 2014 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was born May 11, 1958 in Salus, Arkansas to O'Dean Bohannon and Betty (Baxter) McFadden.
Mr. Bohannon married Tammy in 1979 at Alix, AR. He worked at Kim Products, River Valley Animal Food and as a boiler maker. Ronnie loved to hunt, fish, camp and have family gatherings. He always made sure the children and grandchildren had to wait until Christmas morning to open their gifts.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his Father O'Dean Bohannon, Mother Betty McFadden and Step-father Buel Dean McFadden. Mr. Bohannon is survived by his wife Tammy Bohannon of Coal Hill, daughter Ronni Bryant and husband Clay of Coal Hill, Son Randall Bohannon and wife Whitney of Hunt, brothers Jerry Bohannon and wife Lois of Hunt, Lonnie Bohannon of Clarksville, sisters Debbie Grigsby and companion Marvin Stephenson of Clarksville, JoAnn Mize and husband Alan of Clarksville, two granddaughters, Brooklyn Bryant of Coal Hill and Kenslee Bohannon of Hunt.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Mr. Bohannon's funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June2, 2014 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with Bro. David Zeiler officiating. Burial will follow in Oark cemetery with Richard Mays, Don Houston, David Davidson, Butch Grisby, Mark Rofkhar, and James TedFord serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Martin, Gary Edwards, James Bell, Rick Grigsby, Don Edgar, Donnie Grigsby and Junior Ashlock.

I'm so very sorry Tammy. Prayers for you and the kids through this sad time. I'm Thankful the suffering is over for him . You're a strong woman,but it's times like these that we all need prayers.And mine will be with you and the kids for a long time. One thing he certainly left you all,was a lot of good(and funny !!) memories.I'm sure you will cherish those forever.Love you.
