November 28, 1931 - April 30, 2014

Our loving and nurturing mother, Vivian Catherine Galloway, found heavenly rest on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the age of 82 with her husband, Hervey Mann Galloway, Jr. who preceded her in death.
She is survived by children Hervey Reed Galloway (Gwen) of Conway, Gary Mann Galloway (Serena) of Loveland, Colorado and Catherine Ball (David) of Sheridan and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by older sister Frances Carruth (Samuel) of Norco, Louisiana and younger brother Bobby Reed (Jane) Of Sheridan. Catherine was also preceded in death by older sister, Katie Diffee (Clifton) of Magnolia and brother, William Reed (Eloise) of Pine Bluff.
Catherine was born in Rowell (Cleveland Co.), Arkansas, to Garvin Reed and Effie Reed (Effie Roberts). She lived a number of years in Cornerstone (Jefferson Co.), where she graduated from Altheimer High School in 1949 and met and married H.M. Galloway, Jr. Catherine was a long time resident of Pine Bluff (Jefferson Co.) and more recently of Conway, Sheridan, and Benton.
Catherine retired after a 25 year career as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, working as a Medical/Surgical and Emergency Room Nurse.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 10:00A.M.at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
