Leslie E. Smith, 81, of Conway passed away April 26, 2014. He was born September 30, 1932, to the late Vernon and Beatrice Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Smith; son, Randell Smith; daughter, Deborah Smith; brothers, Travis Smith, Benny Smith, and Dale Smith; grandson, Richie Montgomery; granddaughter, Sandy Montgomery; great-grandson, William Montgomery.
Leslie retired from Virco Manufacturing after many years of faithful service. He also served in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his three daughters, Susan Thomas (Bruce) of Benton, Lori Holden (Wes) of Conway, Teri Powell (Bill) of Enola; six grandchildren, Derek Thomas, Kacie Woodmansee, Emma Thomas, Jacob Powell, Hannah Powell, Lance Holden; one great-granddaughter, Kimora Chance; sister, Lanell Smith of Albuquerque, NM;
Graveside Service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Conway.
In lieu of flowers donations can made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at both Conway Regional Medical Center and South Ridge Village.
