Vincent Rivera Jr., 70, left this earth to be with the lord on April 24, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was a proud Veteran who served in the U.S. Army serving two tours in Vietnam. Vincent known as ''Pops'' to his grandchildren was well loved by all.
Vincent is survived by his wife of 53 years Olivia Rivera. Brother, Manuel Rivera, Sisters; Elva Trevino, Gloria Vuittonett and Emily Hunter. Daughters and Son: Kathryn (Rick) Stransky, Debra Smith, Sonja (Terry) Davis, Lisa (Jay) Butler, Roman (Jeri) Rivera. Grandchildren: Heather McHughes, Jennifer Gentry, Josh Davis, James Allen Nicholds, Amber Tatum, Sarah Lancaster, Justin Turner, Brandon Ball, Brynne Beecham, Phillip Harrison, Austin Rivera, Kaitlyn Turner, Jakob Davis, Olivia Smith, Emily Butler, Cory Nivens, Laurie Nivens, Daniel Nivens. Great grand children: Danielle, Isabella, Nadia, Vivien, Allison, Brayden, Aubrianna, Mary Jane, Emma.
He is preceded in death by: Parents, Vincent Sr. and Manuela Rivera, Brother: Lupe Rivera, Son-In-Law Rick Smith.
A visitation will be on Tuesday, April 29th from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
A special thank you to Arkansas Hospice, especially to: David Green RN, Starla Adams, RN and to Samantha and Jenson. You all were the angels we needed!
