Catherine Phelps, 87, of Greenbrier, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014. She was born April 9, 1927 in Little Rock, AR. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John Elbert Phelps, son, Danny Phelps, Sr. and daughter in law, Deborah Phelps.

Catherine was of the Pentecostal faith and was employed at Hughes Aircraft for many years, until her retirement. She enjoyed gospel music, ceramics, her puppy, Penny, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Catherine is survived by her son, Tim Phelps (Ashley) of Greenbrier, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and niece, Karen Nooner (Van) of Mayflower.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway (501)327-7727, with burial following at Mayflower Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Van Nooner, Danny Phelps, Jr., Jonathan Phelps, Kaylin Phelps, Raymond Schwoch and David or Vanessa Pyl. Nicholas Phelps will be serving as honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
