Ronnie Gene Edwards, 60, of Mayflower passed away April 26, 2014. He was born October 12, 1953, to the late Alfred and Hazel Edwards.Ronnie retired from ABF after many years of faithful service. He was an avid fisherman as well as a loving father, grandfather, brother, companion, and friend.
He is survived by his life-long special friend Dollie Davis; the mother of his children, Anita Edwards; daughter, Natasha Edwards Rodarte of Mayflower, grandchildren, Nathaniel Welling, Soledad Rodarte, Hilario Rodarte, and Isaiah Rodarte; four sisters, Bettye Campbell of Marietta, Georgia, Patricia McPherson of Mayflower, Debbie Henson of Greenwood, Arkansas, Shalla Pack of Nashville, Arkansas; three brothers, Weldon Edwards, Bobby Edwards both of Mayflower, Thomas Edwards of West Monroe; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Burial will follow at the Mayflower Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior at the Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Nathaniel Welling, Bobby Edwards Jr., Randy McPherson, Jake McPherson, Brock McPherson.
Honorary Pallbearers: Nicky Henson, Kelly Henson, Steven Pack, Spencer Pack, Drew Edwards, Danny Rogers, Thomas Herron, Ray Hamblen.
I am so sorry to learn of Ronnie's passing. I met Ronnie in the 5th. grade and remember him as a sweet and kind friend through school. Your family is in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about Ronnie! I have not seen him in years but he is well remembered! From old school days. God be with you all.
I loved Ronnie. He was such an honest and generous man. We will surely miss his smile , his laugh, his generosity to others, his guitar, his fishin, his cooking and so many other things that were so special about him. He made my mom very happy and was such a dear friend to her.
Ronnie , you will be missed.
