Janie, I just heard about Lloyd today, I am so sorry for your loss. When I told Gene he couldn't believe it either. I know we haven't seen ya in forever, but we both remember the times that we spent together with ya, when I helped out at the photography studio, and ya taking us in and giving us such good advice, and making me feel like such a part of the studio. We loved both of ya, and Kelley and Shirley, and still do. I can only imagine the difficulties, that you have delt with and are still dealing with, but I know that you have a lot of family and friends that are surrounding themselves around you and that love you very very much. Gene and I love you too, and will keep you all in our prayers.

So many memories ... Working on that old truck together. We were so proud of ourselves. Remember how hard you were on me when you coached? Older I got, i realized why.
I remember how proud you were of me when I married JL... Then we seemed whole. With the birth of our first, y'all's first grandchild, I thought you both would bust at the seams! And each time JL and I experienced the miracle of LIFE , you two were by our side, full of joy, and supporting us any way you could. JL and I remember most , the weekends Mom planned, so we'd be relaxed, stress free from our worries. Our girls were our pride and joy, Granny's 'spring in her step' and y'all's excitement for future. JL once nicknamed you 'wise one' , for your business skills and strategies. She wanted to be like you, Mom. I remember my Granny and Mom waiting on us 'hand and foot', Dad. Almost as if competing! JL said 'I've got big shoes to fill'. We were all so happy. I was your only son, and I knew my family made you proud of me.
Remember JL and girls got iced in and what mom and granny did? After sharing groceries with neighbors, y'all packed my truck, and I delivered what JL said was "like Christmas gifts!". Y'all praised JL for the good job she did raising the girls. Made my wife feel really good, and loved. As hard as it was working away from home and away from my wife and kids, y'all tried making a 'home away from home' for me. I know y'all remember the daily stressors in raising a family. 4 girls under one roof, and 2 of them TEENS? When I found work close to home, i felt like asking "who are you, and what have you done with my kid?"
Both of you were able to get across to Teens, things we felt we couldn't. JL always knew y'all were a 'call away'. So did I

We loved, fought, played, and planned... We just didn't plan on this. JL regrets the missed appointment she made with you. I regret waiting on you to call me...
With all the bad stuff in the world, I know LOVE, especially that between families, makes anything possible! I know you
Left this place knowing you were loved. Mom , JL, and my girls, family and friends, all love you. You and I both too stubborn, prideful, and didn't tell each other enough. God knows, and I KNOW you know, I love you.

Janie, We were so shocked to hear about Joby's death. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.

We have special memories of our years going to school with you and Joby. Sam still talks about Joby's pony that he rode in a homecoming parade one year. He thought that was so special because he wanted one so badly, but his mother wouldn't let him have one. We enjoyed always seeing you at our class reunions and keeping up with you on facebook. Our hearts are very sad at the loss of a friend and classmate.

Dear Joby,
I'm so sorry Terry and I couldn't be there for you but in a way it's a good thing because I hate good-byes.

I think of all the fun loving times we had growing up... the times Shirley G. and I didn't want to go to school so we would come to your house and jump up and down on your bed to get you up to play hooky with us... the time you got a pony for your birthday and brought it over to my house so I could ride it...the time you got a car, a Studebaker, and was to young to drive it but that didn't stop up from having fun we just got Kelley to drive us around looking for trouble.

All the times we were at the skating rink skating together... even after I had to move away... we never lost touch. Our friendship has lasted a life time and will be there forever my loving friend... you may be gone from our sight now but you will never be out of our heart... Rest In Peace my dear and loving friend and know that I love you and will miss you, your calls, and partying with you... we will see you again.

Terry said to tell you that you will be a friend forever.

With all our love,
Terry and Norma
