George Pelton, 89, of Benton passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. He was born on November 8, 1924 in Traskwood, AR to the late Isom and Sarah Lou (Langley) Pelton. Mr. Pelton was an LPTN for the Benton Services Center for forty-five years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita (Miller) Pelton and two sisters.
He is survived by his sons, Harold Pelton (Paula) of Benton, Rex Pelton (Brenda) of Traskwood, Greg Pelton (Robin) of Benton, and Tom Pelton (Melody) of Malvern; eight grandchildren, Angela Sanders (Todd), Eric Pelton (Paulette), Curtis Patterson (JC), Misty Payte (Reuben), Michelle Adams (Tommy), Charlotte Torres (Blake), Crystal Pelton, and Jason Pelton (Lindsey), and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Ken Graham officiating. Interment will follow at New Rosemont Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening April 10th at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House, 23257 I-30, Bryant, AR 72022.
