Stella Mae Bachman, 90, of Batesville died Sunday, April 6, 2014 in a local nursing home.

She was born October 22, 1923 in Melbourne, Arkansas and was the daughter of Henry Patterson and Ella Mae Warren Patterson.

She enjoyed the outdoors and taking care of her many animals. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Bachman Jr. and Gary Bachman both of Batesville; two brothers, Buddy Patterson of Highland, California and Henry ''Junior'' Patterson of Melbourne; two sisters, Eunice Constant of Woodland, California and Melba June McCollom of North Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Ginger Bachman of Cabot, Arkansas and Lynn Bachman of Batesville; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard ''Dick'' Bachman; a grandson, Ladd Bachman; one brother; and two sisters.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Bethlehem Cemetery at Sage, Arkansas with Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating.

There will be no visitation.
