William Grady Richmond, Jr., 83, of Centreville, Mississippi passed away Thursday March 20, 2014 in Southaven, Mississippi. He was born September 13, 1930 to the late William Grady Richmond, Sr. and Lois McCoy Richmond in Helena, Arkansas.
Grady is survived by one daughter, Alex Richmond of Centreville, MS. five sons, Grady Kyle and Will Richmond of Centerville, MS, James Alan Richmond (Kelly) of Liberty, MS. Robert William Richmond of St. Francisville, L. A., Larry Charles Richmond of Denham Springs, LA.; two brothers of AR.and one brother of MS., three sisters of AR.; six grandchildren, Christina, Brittany, David, A. J.. Randy and Charley,and two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Lane.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his late wife, Geneva L. Richmond
Grady worked for the Nation Guard as a young man, he was a Farmer most of his life and retired from Wacknhut Security @ River Bend Nuclear Plant in St. Francisville, LA.
He enjoyed going to church, gardening, working in the yard, visiting friends and spending time with his family.
Services will be 12 noon Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Roller-Citizens Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P. M. Monday, March 24, 2014 also at the Chapel.
