David E. Earl passed away March 20th 2014. He was born on February 6th, 1921 in New Milford, CT to Ivan H. and Grace (Shrack) Earl and was 1 of 14 children. He is survived by 2 daughters, Sarah Sikes of Benton, AR and Judy Roberson of Larose, LA. He leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Monica Liner, Darren Pitre, Wayne Charpentier, Bryan Charpentier, and Wendy Pitre; 12 Great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. His surviving siblings are Ethel Burch, Alice Clark, Jana, Larry, Richard and Robert Earl.
David is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Bounds Earl, his son John Earl and sons-in-law Tom Roberson and Barney Sikes, as well as his brothers Ivan, Clifford, Doug, Lester, Nellis, Chester and Kenneth.
David made his home in Galliano, LA prior to moving to Benton, AR in 2008. He served in the Navy and is a retired auto mechanic.
Graveside services will be held at Corinth Baptist Cemetery in Purvis, Mississippi on Sunday March 23rd at 3:00 pm. The family would like to thank Arkansas Health Center and staff for his loving care.

We wanted to send our condolences to David's family. Having to part with the ones we love is such an unnatural feeling. We also know the pain of loss. Something very encouraging can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. There our creator makes us a beautiful promise for the future, a time when this kind of pain will never have to be felt again. We sincerely wish that you can find comfort and hope in those promises.
