Roy (Wayne) Hall, 69, of Benton passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014. He was born September 9, 1944 in Benton to the late Roy C. and Sybil Arthur Hall. Mr. Hall was a retired operations supervisor with Kruse Meats and a member of Old Union Baptist Church. He served in the U. S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran.
In addition to his parents, one son, Stephen Wayne Hall and one granddaughter, Erin Merritt also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Diania E. Hall of Benton; daughter, Stephani Huchingson (Lowell) of Benton; son, Roger Hall (Shana) of Benton; two sisters, Wanda Johnson of Hot Springs and Phyllis Frances (Rick) of Perryville, AR; three brothers, William Hall (Marilyn) of Perryville, Herbert Hall (Rita) of Paron, and David Hall (Jennifer) of Paron, seven grandchildren, Shelly Jones, Nathan Hall, Mathew Hall, Bailey Hall, Brayden Hall, Ada Huchingson, and Leah Huchingson, two great grandchildren, Hunter Merritt and Kash Jones, a host of other family, and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Ray Owen officiating. Interment will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Lorne Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Warren Hall, Nathan Hall, Billy Tray Jones, Billy Kerr, David Hall, and Lowell Huchingson. Honorary pallbearers are Michael and Mathew Hall.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, March 21st at the funeral home.
