Virgie Ann Freeman, 74, of Hartman, passed away March 15, 2014. She was born March 4, 1940, in Watson, Arkansas, to the late Sam Freeman and Clara (Jones) Freeman. She was of the Baptist Faith and loved fishing. She was a homemaker, but also was a welder, a bartender, a seamstress and did fiberglass and plastic work. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sons, Derryle Milholland and Michael Milholland; a daughter, Gail Morris; three brothers, Clarence Freeman, Gene Freeman and Billy Freeman; and a sister, Barbara Freeman.
Virgie is survived by five sons, Franklin Milholland of Hartman, Eddie Milholland of Conway, Wayne ''Roho'' Milholland of Mulberry, Bruce Milholland of Conway and Harold Milholland of Altus; two daughters, Sharon Huffman of Midland, Texas and Frances Milholland of Conway; five sisters, Elizabeth Ritchie of Oregon, Jeanette Scarberry of Clarksville, Charlotte Wilder of Catalpa, Goldie Sandlin of Ozark and Shelia Lancaster of Ozark; three brothers, Norman Freeman of Mingus, Texas, Charles Freeman of Hartman and Frank Freeman of Lake Village; twenty seven grandchildren; and twenty two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Virgie's funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with Bro. Gerald Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Hartman Cemetery.
