Erma Nadine Russell, 79 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 in Paris. She was born on April 15, 1934 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to her parents, Thomas Leonard and Vivian D. (Watkins) Nesbitt. She was a homemaker, enjoyed crocheting, reading and embroidery and was a member of Harmony Assembly of God Church in Paris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Vivian Nesbitt; husband J.B. Russell; one daughter, Glenda Chandler; one sister, Gladys Nesbitt and one brother Raymond Nesbitt.
She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Stephens and husband James of Paris and Dianna Willhite and husband George of Paris; four grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and her beloved pets, Sally, Fuzzy and Prissy.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Tammy Frederick. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Errick Ellington, Skyler Ellington, Cliff Chandler, Keith Robberson, James Chandler and Adam Chandler.
Honorary pallbearer will be her Great-Grandchildren.
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Erma i have known her for many many years. Erma and my mother Jane Hickman grew up some together and her father preached at our church many different times over the years. She was always so friendly and kind hearted and had something nice to say all the time. Went to school with Karen n Diane have fond memories of her i pray that God will bring comfort to all of you in this hard time of loss.
So sad to hear about Erma. She was the sweetest lady!!! I only knew her through the Vet Clinic when she would bring the dogs in, loved talking to her! With deepest sympathy to the family. Prayers for comfort and peace.

So sorry for the loss of your mother. I knew her from Harmony Church. She was one of the sweetest lady's I Have ever met. A true christian. It is the world's lost because of her witness of the GOD she served ,but Heaven's gain. Praying for your family.
I am so sorry for your loss. Erma was such a good lady. My mom and dad were Edgar and Sula Appleton, and I have been told a lot of good stories about them, Erma and JB when they were young and starting out.

we extend our heartfelt sympathy to you the family of Erma Rusell. She was always such a sweet lady & I know will be greatly missed. I met her at my sister's (Linda & Johnny Chandlers) & so enjoyed visiting with her there at family gatherings. Very nice lady. You are all in our thoughts & prayers.
